Cnidilin is a natural compound belonging to the coumarin family and normally isolated from Radix Angelicae dahuricae (RAD), a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). RAD possesses anti-oxidant, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory effects. Cnidilin has been described to show strong antiplatelet aggregation activity in vitro to be a GABAA receptor ligand and NO production inhibitor.
