Isoprothiolane is a dithiolane pesticide. Isoprothiolane is commonly used in agriculture as a fungicide and insecticide to control planthoppers and blast disease in rice plants. Shown to regulate mammary epithelial cell growth in vitro by modulation production of cytokines and improving hepatic lipid metabolism in cows. Compound can be used as analytical reference material.
