      Description
Valifenalate is a systemic fungicide which belongs to the carboxylic acid amide (CAA) fungicide class and is used in agriculture to protect crops from fungal diseases, particularly downy mildew (Peronosporales) and late blight (Phytophthora infestans). Valifenalate inhibits the biosynthesis of fungal cell walls by targeting cellulose synthase, preventing proper fungal growth and reproduction. This compound can be used as analytical reference material.
