Firefly luciferase substrate. Selenium analog of firefly L-luciferin with red-shifted bioluminescence emission for use in in vivo bioluminescence imaging. Bioluminescence spectra: ≤ 600nm. This selenium analog exhibits a similar substrate affinity to wild type D-luciferin, though with slightly lower quantum yield.
